Spray flooring is an innovative solution for renovating old, existing concrete surfaces, without demolishing them as it is a millimetre-thick cement coating that decorates these surfaces. It is a two-component cement mortar, a few millimetres thick that brings a worn, or otherwise ageing floor, to life again.
Technically called “Decotop Spray” or “stencilled concrete”, spray flooring is made by hand, using specific professional equipment, in several stages.
The first stage is to apply the cement base in the chosen colour. Once this has dried, the stencil (paper mould) is applied in the shape of your choice. The stencils available are: porphyry, pebble stone, fish-bone, brick and others.
Then the cement-based material of the chosen colour is sprayed with a professional sprayer. In the following days, the stencil is removed and the surface is finished with a transparent one-component resin.
It is ideal for enhancing old floors and pavements, private and public entrances, driveways or pedestrian walkways, access ramps, driveways, swimming pool edges, stairs etc..
